Now that I think about it, this look seems more like quirky Parisian kindergarten teacher. Well, t could be both. Either way, I’m sticking with the pun. Teehee! One of the great thing about fashion is the shameless puns. Today, I was trying to form a look around my DIY necklace from my high school days. I’ve been waiting for Beer Bike to give it its well deserved comeback.

I think people might’ve been distracted by the scarf though, oh well. This will be my submission for the polka dot contest on weardrobe too; just trying to kill two birds with one stone. Back to the necklace, it was inspired by Luna Lovegood from Harry Potter, her and her butterbeer cork necklace. This is what I imagined a more fashion-y version would be like. Now if you’ll excuse me, I’ve got an interview to conduct for a class project.

Deanne I like this one alot – props on the pencil skirt and the cork necklace. The ascot brings back memories. Btw, there is a street in York called the Shambles that they used for Diagon Alley.

This is such a fantastic outfit!! I really really like the entire look. You pull off the pencil skirt so well.

And that cork necklace!?! Zomg I was expected to see ‘vintage’ or the name of some quirky boutique in the caption but ‘DIY’?!! That’s seriously cool. I love how you tied the scarf asymmetrically.

Just discovered your blog and am totally loving it!! Haha if not for the fact that it’s 1.30 a.m I could go on checking out archives for ages!! =D
